A solution for every type of motorbike
The sensations and skills required to handle a motorbike vary depending on the model and the environment in which it is used: in the city or on the open road.
In a bid for 100% reality, LANDER has created a range of high-CC/low-CC motorbike simulators.

The importance of realistic sensations

Technology in the face of complexity
The increasing difficulty of simulating realistic ride sensations for high-CC motorbikes (over 400 CC) has produced a completely new kind of simulator with a highly complex and specific technology system.
A motorbike simulator designed for the professional user.

Real motorbike
The simulator can include any real high-CC bike (the current design includes the Honda CB 500 X).
All the bike's controls are functional (brake and clutch, throttle, gear-change pedal, indicators etc.)
All this helps convey 100% realistic sensations to the rider.
Seat vibration
Riders will feel the vibrations in the seat as soon as they start up the bike. This effect helps recreate the sensation of power in these high-CC bikes.

Surround sound system
A 5.1. surround sound system accurately reproduces aerodynamic noise and ride noise, the sounds of weather conditions (rain, wind etc.), the sounds of other vehicles etc.
A view of the real world
The motorbike simulator's visual system immerses the trainee in a real-world driving environment thanks to top-quality images and a field of vision which reproduces the view from a real bike.
The system features:
- 5 49” full HD flat TV screens.
- 200º horizontal vision and a view of the road surface under the front wheel.

Rear-view mirrors like the real thing
Though small, the rear-view mirrors are key features to guarantee road safety.
The simulator accurately reproduces the mirrors on each bike, for a realistic ride and better training.
Specific motion system
LANDER has developed a specific system for high-CC bikes to adapt to the ride and to specific real features such as stoppage of the bike.
The Pitch & Roll movements accurately reproduce travel through bends and the sensations of acceleration and braking.
This helps trainees learn how to handle the bike in normal situations and in scenarios of greater danger, thereby acquiring the skills to carry out their daily tasks.

Variable parameters
The simulator conveys sensations to trainees which vary according to different parameters such as:
- Hardness changes with bike speeds
- Influence of the trainee's weight on the ride
Urban or interurban, on the right or on the left
All LANDER units can simulate driving on the right or on the left, with all the necessary software and hardware adaptations involved.
Trainees can also gain experience in urban and interurban environments, and on practice facilities.
Each simulator is detail-customised to include the signing of the country concerned.

Customised software
The instructor has access to a wide range of tools to create real danger scenarios to adapt to trainees' operational situations.
This means each unit is unique, and can offer a wide range of possibilities:
- Adaptation of traffic to the conditions of each country.
- Adaptation of incidents with traffic and vehicle breakdowns at any point.
- Adaptation of weather conditions.
- Etc.
The simulator for transport professionals
Transport by road, whether of goods or passengers, involves great responsibility on the part of professional drivers that face highly complex situations on a daily basis.
Simbio is the fusion of all these realities, a simulator that allows drivers of urban and inter-urban buses, lorries, trailers, vehicles carrying hazardous goods and many others to train for all the circumstances and conditions they face in their everyday professional lives.
Heavy vehicles require special driving skills.
Every movement, every detail counts
Versatile driving station with real controls
This type of simulator incorporates real heavy vehicle controls that guarantee realistic driving.
In addition, the cockpit evokes the lines and the outline of real vehicles, which allows the learner to believe himself at all times inside a real cabin, whatever the model.

Three degrees of freedom of motion.
The sense of motion inside a vehicle is an essential part of the sensations and decisions we experience when driving. LANDER's automotive simulators therefore incorporate a motion system capable of reproducing the effects of accelerating and breaking, driving on curves, potholes and many other items in a highly realistic way.
We have developed a motion system with three degrees of motion for our car simulator that allows for the experience of even terrain, driving on curves or the sensations of accelerating and breaking, among other things.
A view of the real world
- 3 TV screens of 55-inch covering 180º horizontal visul field.
- The arrangement of the 3 TV screens around the driving position is such that it covers the central 180º of the driver's field of vision. This system allows appropiately taking distance references during the simulation (perceptions of position and speed), and minimizes perspective errors.

Right- or left-hand side steering, manual or automatic
All LANDER simulators support right-hand and left-hand steering and all the necessary software and hardware adaptations involved.
It is moreover possible to simulate manual, automatic, Eaton-Fuller and other transmissions on the same simulation station.
Customised software
The development of heavy vehicle simulators allows a certain number of adaptations which make each equipment unique:
- Customer´s real vehicles: dynamic models, driving sensations and on-board computer among others
- Simulation of the vehicle´s interior on the visual system screens
- Adapted scenarios or real places: urban, interurban and test circuit
- Local signage
- Traffic incidents and vehicle breakdowns specific to each customer

The solution for light vehicles
LANDER's car simulator allows for the training of professional divers in all kinds of light vehicles, whether compact cars, 4x4s, vans, ambulances and others.
Countless people use a vehicle at work, and proper driving skills are crucial.
The tool used by millions of professionals
Real controls, versatile driving station
LANDER's car simulators are designed with real light-vehicle controls to ensure a realistic experience.
At the same time the driving station emulates the lines and contours of these kinds of vehicles, allowing for the trainee to be sat in an motor car all throughout, regardless of the model being driven.

Towards a safer real world
Technology to address growing risk
Motorbikes have the highest accident rates in many cities around the world. Moreover, the injuries sustained by riders in these accidents are often extremely serious, and even fatal.
LANDER has designed the low-CC simulator (less than 400 CC) to improve training for civil bike riders.

Real motorbike
The simulator can include any real low-CC bike, automatic or manual (the current design includes the Keeway TX125S).
All the bike's controls are functional (brake and clutch, throttle, gear-change pedal, indicators etc.).
