Car driving simulator
The solution for light vehicles
LANDER's car simulator allows for the training of professional divers in all kinds of light vehicles, whether compact cars, 4x4s, vans, ambulances and others.
Countless people use a vehicle at work, and proper driving skills are crucial.
The tool used by millions of professionals
Real controls, versatile driving station
LANDER's car simulators are designed with real light-vehicle controls to ensure a realistic experience.
At the same time the driving station emulates the lines and contours of these kinds of vehicles, allowing for the trainee to be sat in an motor car all throughout, regardless of the model being driven.
Three degrees of freedom of motion.
The sense of motion inside a vehicle is an essential part of the sensations and decisions we experience when driving. LANDER's automotive simulators therefore incorporate a motion system capable of reproducing the effects of accelerating and breaking, driving on curves, potholes and many other items in a highly realistic way.
We have developed a motion system with three degrees of motion for our car simulator that allows for the experience of even terrain, driving on curves or the sensations of accelerating and breaking, among other things.
A view of the real world
The car simulator's visual system immerses the trainee in real-world driving environments with maximum image quality that covers the field of vision actually visible from the real car:
- 4K screens for improved image quality
- Three 55” screens for a 180º angle of vision
Right- or left-hand side steering, manual or automatic
All LANDER simulators support right-hand and left-hand steering and all the necessary software and hardware adaptations involved.
It is moreover possible to simulate both manual and automatic transmissions on the same simulation station.
Customised software
As with all our projects, our car simulator development allows for a series of adaptations that make each system unique:
- Actual vehicles of the customer: dynamic models, driving sensations and on-board computer, among other items
- Simulation of vehicle interior on the visual system's screens
- Adapted scenarios or real local features: urban, inter-urban and testing track
- localized signing
- traffic incidents and vehicle malfunctions particular to each customer
