SAPTCO expands in Riyadh hand in hand with RATP Dev and the Metro
During the InnoTrans 2018 event a few weeks ago we reported some extremely good news for LANDER, although it had already been announced by SAPTCO: SAPTCO will be operating lines 1 and 2 of the future Riyadh Metro alongside French operator RATP Dev.
This infrastructure, which has been under construction for some years now, is one of the largest challenges to be taken up by the Arab state, as the first 6 lines of the future system are now being built simultaneously. A huge project which will guarantee a new response to the increasingly pressing need for transport alternatives in a city gridlocked by traffic for most of the day.
SAPTCO has extensive experience in transport nationwide, and will team up with one of the world's most experienced operators, RATP Dev, with which it has a longstanding agreement to address operations involving passenger transit in Saudi Arabia.
We are very pleased that our customers are continuing to expand, and particularly SAPTCO, a transport pioneer in Saudi Arabia with some major projects already under its belt, including the introduction of simulators to train the myriad of bus drivers providing a daily service for tens of thousands of people on the Arabian Peninsula.
Congratulations to SAPTCO and RATP Dev on this new project!
