Representatives from LANDER joined Eurasia Rail Exhibition 2015
We are not saying anything new if we talk about Turkey’s power as a hub and transport reference for the entire world and specially for Europe and Asia. With a widespread rail infrastructure comprising metros and trams in almost all the big cities of the country, as well as the country’s long distance network, Turkey remains a country worth drawing attention to.
This great value has been once again shown at the Eurasia Rail Exhibition that is held yearly in the Istanbul Expo Center in Istanbul. This year, the exhibition spanned from the 5th to the 7th of march. More than 30 conferences were held from different Turkish entities, operators and manufacturers, as well as from international companies such as Alstom, Bombardier, Thales and Revenga Ingeniería.
A team of Lander representatives, CEO José Montero and Area Manager Diego Sandino, have had the chance to experience this well-known fair and walk through the 3 pavilions allocated for all the exhibitors present in the halls, more than 250 during this year.
Apart from visiting the stands for the world main rolling stock manufacturers, Lander’s team had the chance to taste the new trends and innovations in the railway market as well as the future projects to be delivered and presented soon in Turkey and the surrounding countries. Representatives of the most important local operators, such as TCDD, Istanbul Ulasim, Ankaray and many others have had the chance to share their impressions and concerns on the current infrastructure and also share their vision and wishes for the future projects.
It has been a great opportunity for Lander to know first-hand the situation of the country and the needs of the companies there. We want to thank the organizers for such a good job joining together the most important railway companies in the world and for the great coordination during such effort.
See you next year!
