The new generation of train simulators arrives to Indian Railways

Passengers to the train! The new generation of train simulators arrives at Indian Railways

In recent years, LANDER has been working intensively in the Asian markets. As a result of this effort, LANDER has signed a new contract with Indian Railways for the supply of 13 new training centers.

Indian Railways is not just a means of transportation but also a cultural and social institution ingrained in the lives of millions of Indians. Indian Railways operates the fourth-largest railway network in the world, with over 68,000 km of tracks. Thanks to its extensive network, it provides essential services to millions of passengers daily.

New Generation of Simulators

The simulators will be installed in 13 training centers spread across India and will feature the latest simulation technology. Each center will have a replica cabin mounted on a 6 degrees of freedom platform. In this cabin, drivers will be able to operate the simulator in a realistic and immersive manner.

Additionally, LANDER will supply 12 part trainers that will give Indian Railways drivers an initial hands-on experience.

Finally, the project will include an instructor station that will control the simulation and allow interaction with students waiting their turn at the Observation Post.

For this project, LANDER will simulate the WAP-5, WAP-7, and WAG-9 locomotives, as well as the national operator's EMU/MEMU.

High-Quality Training

These simulators are important for providing top-level training to Indian Railways drivers. The purchase of these simulators is part of their ambitious investment plan, which also includes the purchase of new locomotives, new trains, new safety systems, electrification of their network, etc. At LANDER, we are very proud to contribute to the success of their operation.

This project adds to a growing list of successful projects in India, the rest of Asia, and worldwide. This reflects the flexibility and closeness of our organization to adapt to the training needs of clients in very diverse situations.

We thank our partner in India, Swastik Overseas, who has been accompanying us in our growth in the country for years.

In the coming months, we will keep you informed about the progress and news of this and other new projects.

If you want to know how LANDER can help you with your training, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to respond.
