MTR Stockholm presents its new cuting-edge technology simulators
Last Friday, 5th September, the company MTR Stockholm, operator of the Stockholm Metro, presented its new driving simulator for training engine drivers before the country's authorities.
These are the first simulators to be installed in Scandinavia and are composed of 2 identical cabins, two multi-purpose training stations, an instructor's post and an observation post for group work with pupils.
MTR, a pioneer in safety and quality performance, is taking a further step to guarantee a quality service in Stockholm City. "MTR is committed to offering a top-level service to passengers. The new simulators precisely replicate how a train behaves. They will allow us to simulate scenarios we could not easily create on actual track. They will improve new driver training and enable existing drivers to be better trained to deal with infrequent but challenging scenarios” ,said Jeremy Long, CEO- European Business.
At Lander, we could hardly feel prouder of the project's great result and of having been chosen for this job. We wish them many successes. Congratulations!
