LANDER's sales team takes on new challenges
LANDER's quick expansion in south Asia in the past few years, with the development of large-scale simulation projects, such as the simulator project for the entire network of driving schools in Singapore, the ambitions underground simulator project for SMRT Circle Line, also in Singapore, or the railway operation simulation equipment for Bangladesh Railways, have required the Sales and Marketing team to adapt their approach during the company's consolidation in these countries and to make progress while entering new markets across the world.
Jorge Meré recently joined the team for these reasons, a professional with a vast international experience who will help strengthen LANDER's presence in southeast Asia.
Jorge's relationship with these countries started approximately 8 years ago, when he received a Foreign Trade scholarship from ICEX to work at the Commercial Office of the Spanish embassy in Malaysia. Since then, Jorge has specialised in business development activities in these regions working for EPTISA, a civil works engineering firm. During the past 3 years, he has lived in Manila and managed specific projects in this region.
Jorge was born in Madrid but moved to San Sebastián, where Lander's headquarters are located, to continue with his professional and personal development. Jorge is not only prepared to face new challenges in southeast Asia, but is also ready to show everyone what a good cook he is. Without a doubt, he has chosen a great place to put into practice what he has learnt until now.
LANDER would like to thank Jorge for joining us and wishes him every success as he embarks on this new stage in his career.
