Lander to supply driving simulators for Bangkok Skytrain

Lander Simulation & Training Solutions S.A. has recently signed a contract for the design, development, supply and service of driving simulators for Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited, BTSC. The simulator system will consist of 2 driving cabins, 1 instructor station and 1 observation station. The new training facility will allow driving 4 different types of rolling stock along the Sukhumvit and Silom lines of the Bangkok Skytrain.

The simulator system is already at the manufacturing stage and a BTS delegation is expected to visit Lander in January 2018 to supervise the manufacturing and development process.

By this high-tech driving simulators, BTSC train captains will acquire the driving skills that will help improve the safety and efficiency of the service given to the Skytrain users.
