Lander Simulation partners with the STE of Mexico City!
New Driving Simulator Arrives for the Light Rail Passenger Train of the Electrical Transport Service (STE) of Mexico City
We are pleased to announce that the Electrical Transport Service (STE) of Mexico City has recently inaugurated a new driving simulator for the light rail passenger train.
A Step Further in Mexico
The light rail is a mode of public transport that is characterized by operating segregated from road traffic. That is, it runs on its own track, separate from the usual traffic of cars and trucks, making it a more ecological alternative for urban mobility.
Line 1, with 13 kilometers of track, covers the route between Tasqueña station and Xochimilco, thus allowing the transportation of thousands of people daily.
The Electrical Transport Service of CDMX
The STE plays a crucial role in the public transport network of Mexico City, being one of the main transportation services of the city. Thousands of passengers trust them daily, with a high commitment to safety and sustainability.
Our Light Rail Simulator
By implementing this new simulator, we reaffirm our commitment to high quality and safety for various public transport operators in the country and around the world.
Specifically, this multipurpose console provides the ability to train light rail drivers using controls adapted to each model of rolling stock on the line, thus achieving high versatility and a high degree of immersion.
Furthermore, the educational plan implemented in our simulators offers great flexibility in recreating real-life situations of breakdowns and incidents for top-level driver training.
Our Purpose
This project adds to our commitment to providing state-of-the-art custom simulators for the Electrical Transport Service of Mexico City, thereby enabling the training of both trolleybus and light rail operators on high-technology Lander driving simulators.
We are very proud to continue our journey through Mexico. We encourage you to join us on this exciting journey with us to build the future together.
