LANDER is driving police training modernisation with the installation of a vehicle simulator at the Ávila National Police School
We at LANDER take great pride in hitting the milestone of finally having the opportunity to apply the vast wealth of knowledge acquired after having collaborated with numerous police authorities from different countries around the world to our own country.
Within the framework of the efforts to improve State security force and police authority training, LANDER is proud to have left its first mark on this modernisation process by installing the first police car simulator last December at the prestigious Ávila National Police School. This milestone marks an important step forward towards a more safe and reliable nation.
The National Police School has been a European benchmark for nearly four decades, preparing 2,000 students each year to become officers and inspectors. The school’s facilities offer an environment that is highly equipped for hands-on practice, with top-notch instructors and all the resources necessary for these students to carry out their future functions.
The police car simulator will help students acquire driving skills in a realistic and safe virtual environment. In addition, this simulator will also be used to provide driving training to a select group of European police officers from the FRONTEX institution, encouraging international collaboration between police to coordinate training.
LANDER is proud to work closely to back the National Police in this significant step forward, and is committed to providing ongoing support. Together, we will work to ensure the effectiveness and safety of officers in the streets and on patrol, protecting the community for years to come.
