Grupo Senda to incorporate a bus simulator in Mexico
GRUPO SENDA, a leading passenger road transport company operating in northern Mexico and the south of the US, has agreed to take on a bus simulator, to be set up at the Senda Road Transport University in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
This project arose from technology cooperation between SENDA and SOS GLOBAL, a Monterrey company carrying out special technology innovation projects, in a bid to help the north of the country, and most especially the state of Nuevo León, to spearhead road safety in Mexico.
This consolidates GRUPO SENDA's commitment to first-rate capacitation and the best possible travel experience for passengers. The simulator will professionalise and optimise the company's training processes, and address the problem of a dearth of qualified bus drivers in Mexico.
This is the first joint venture by GRUPO SENDA, SOS GLOBAL and LANDER. It will be a customised project to reproduce the real vehicles in the SENDA fleet in the simulator, to boost immersion and realism for drivers.
The project is now due to start, while the bus simulator is expected to be presented to the general public early in 2019.
We wish to congratulate SENDA GROUP for its commitment to the introduction of new technology and to improving road safety in Mexico. We also wish to thank SOS GLOBAL for all the experience it has contributed as a local expert in defining the project.
