Flecha Amarilla Group, founder of IAMSA, unveils its vehicle simulator
Flecha Amarilla Group presents its bus simulator for the corporate centre in Leon, Guanajuato. The acquisition is expected to boost the professionalism of its drivers and help the company in its unwavering commitment to achieving zero accidents on Mexican roads.
Flecha Amarilla Group's pioneering vision is part of the organisation's DNA. As early as in 1990, Mexico's main bus transportation groups, Toluca Group and Flecha Amarilla Group, decided to join forces, teaming up to create IAMSA Group (Inversionistas en Autotransportes Mexicanos s.a.c.v.), a Mexican air and land transport business consortium.
This led to the creation of ETN (Enlaces Terrestres Nacionales) for the luxury transport line, in addition to partnerships with Omnibus de México and Herradura Occidente Group.
Business Roberto Alcántara Rojas (whose father founded Toluca Group in 1957) is the current chairman of IAMSA Group. He has been named one of Mexico's top 100 executives by CNN-Expansión on several occasions.
Among his main business achievements are the acquisition in 2014 of a 9.3% stake in Spain's Prisa Group, which owns El País and the Santillana and Alfaguara publishing houses, among others, and the acquisition in 2016 of 100% of Viva Aerobús, a Mexican low cost airline.
Following this move with major strategic decisions, Flecha Amarilla Group has taken the initiative in IAMSA, demonstrating the same leadership and long-term vision that has made its chairman Roberto Alcántara so prominent. The Group hopes that the new simulator will help to transform the organisation, steering it towards a more competitive and efficient training model.
We at LANDER would like to congratulate Flecha Amarilla Group for its new simulator and its long track record of successfully connecting with people, families and businesses.
