DAIMLER Mexico moves into simulator training
Continuing its development in terms of new technology and an ambitious innovation plan, DAIMLER Mexico is bringing in a Freightliner truck simulator for the professional training of drivers there.
It was presented in Puebla at an event attended by Alfredo Carsolio, Head of After-Sales Services with Freightliner, and Luis Rodolfo Vega de los Ángeles, Vice-President of Sales at Daimler Trucks Mexico, alongside other senior members of the company.
The close relations and cooperation between the National Private Transport Association (ANTP) and LANDER in the user of new training technology gave rise to initial contacts with the DAIMLER team, which in turn led to an international supplier selection process involving simulation companies worldwide, and LANDER was the successful applicant.
DAIMLER intends to use the simulator to boost its successful roadshow "The power there is behind a Freightliner" in Mexico, which began in 2016 and has demonstrated the added value of its after-sales service, with specialist training for distributors and customers in technical and economic driving, prevention and maintenance.
We trust this first joint DAIMLER-LANDER venture will be the beginning of a longlasting future relationship brimming over with revolutionary excellence projects.
We wish to reiterate our congratulations to DAIMLER for its commitment to new technology applied to training and improving road safety in Mexico.
