RNV and Lander team up to develop an innovative bus simulator in Germany
The collaborative efforts between Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (RNV) and Lander Simulation continue making history in public transport education in Germany. After becoming pioneers in the incorporation of tram simulators in the country, RNV is taking a new step forward in its innovation strategy, now adding bus simulators to its training programme.
Since the beginning of our alliance in 2016, RNV has trusted Lander Simulation to develop cutting-edge solutions for the training of its tram drivers. Thanks to that commitment, they currently have five tram simulators that have proven to be key in improving training and operational safety. Now, with the same vision of excellence, RNV is expanding the use of simulation to its bus operations, consolidating its leading position in terms of adopting innovative training technologies.
With this initiative, RNV is reaffirming its confidence in simulation as a fundamental pillar for driver training and strengthening its commitment to extending simulation use beyond the tram, guaranteeing the same quality and rigour in bus operator training. This advancement not only strengthens RNV's position as a leader in public transport innovation but also consolidates the relationship with Lander Simulation for the development of advanced solutions for tomorrow's mobility.
We at LANDER would like to thank RNV for trusting us –especially Michael Frische (RNV's training manager) and Steffen Grimm (Member of RNV's Executive Committee and HR Director)– as well as for their commitment to innovation in driver training.
