LANDER unveils its ambulance simulator with WMAS

West Midlands Ambulance Service has launched its first ambulance driving simulator in partnership with LANDER Simulation. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the field of emergency services training, setting an exceptional standard for driving and critical response training.

The project features an ambulance simulator with a motion platform and real siren and steering wheel, adapted to driving conditions in the UK.

In addition, it includes a mobile terminal equipped with LANDER's client-specific software for emergency response, incorporating GPS functionality for more effective management in critical situations. It also offers a wide range of scenarios, from recreating the client's own ambulance hub to different hospital environments, for complete and realistic training.

Highlighting the significance of priority driving, the simulator offers a realistic traffic response in blue-light situations, providing drivers with comprehensive and effective training.
