LANDER unveils its ambulance simulator with WMAS
Emergency Simulator
West Midlands Ambulance Service has launched its first ambulance driving simulator in partnership with LANDER Simulation. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the field of emergency services training, setting an exceptional standard for driving and critical response training.
With this achievement, LANDER Simulation expands its portfolio in the UK and becomes a leading provider of training for various security and emergency forces in the country, including the armed forces, ambulance and police.
LANDER Ambulance Simulator
The project features an ambulance simulator with a motion platform and real siren and steering wheel, adapted to driving conditions in the UK.
In addition, it includes a mobile terminal equipped with LANDER's client-specific software for emergency response, incorporating GPS functionality for more effective management in critical situations. It also offers a wide range of scenarios, from recreating the client's own ambulance hub to different hospital environments, for complete and realistic training.
Highlighting the significance of priority driving, the simulator offers a realistic traffic response in blue-light situations, providing drivers with comprehensive and effective training.
This comprehensive approach aims to improve both driving skills and emergency response capabilities, which ultimately contributes to reducing the number of road accidents.
