New driving simulators in Singapore
New driving simulators for ComfortDelGro
LANDER Simulation has delivered two new car simulators to the ComfortDelGro driving school in Singapore. The driving school's mission is to train competent and socially responsible drivers for safer roads. It has a fleet of 250 cars and motorbikes and more than 300 instructors.
Lander and ComfortDelGro
In 2019, LANDER carried out the first installation of car and motorbike simulators for ComfortDelGro driving centre. Then, in 2022, the driving school expanded its suite of car simulators with the addition of two new training stations. In 2024, this collaboration continues, as two more cars were delivered in January, bringing the total number of cars and two motorbikes in the classroom to 10.
These simulators are operational throughout the week, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Simulator training
Before getting behind the wheel on real roads, students use and perform exercises on simulation equipment. Through a series of specific modules, they are assessed and must pass in order to advance to the next phase of the training process.
These modules give them the opportunity to face high-risk situations, especially those that are more common in the country. This preparation provides them with the necessary skills to face the streets of the country with confidence once they are behind the wheel.
ComfortDelGro incorporates these two new driving simulators to meet the needs of its students, which helps to reduce waiting times caused by high demand. This measure contributes to shortening the overall time needed to obtain the licence.
On behalf of the entire LANDER team, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to ComfortDelGro driving centre for trusting us over the past 5 years.
We also recognise and deeply appreciate the pivotal role Precision Technologies Pte Ltd has played as local support for the simulators. We look forward to continuing our collaboration on future projects.
