The SSPFD launches the first patrol car jointly developed with Lander
The SSPFD (Ministry of Public Security of Mexico City) launched yesterday in the presence of their secretary, Jesús Rodríguez Almeida, the new patrol car simulator jointly developed with Lander. The event took place in the Graduation Ceremony held at the Police Training Institute in Mexico City, led by its Director-General José Joel Pichardo.
This simulator has been prepared taking into account the very specific needs of this group. After a joint definition phase, the simulator has 8 patrol vehicles (the entire fleet) and a total of 23 incidents specifically prepared for the police force to practise driving in chase situations, suspects, bumps, bumpers, ambushes or to make headway on a main road with heavy traffic.
To take full advantage of the new simulator's features, a group of twenty instructors has been formed to lead the Academic Area Training Courses at the Institute, which have capacity for 2,500 students.
From Lander, we have been accompanying the Ministry of Public Security of Mexico City, showing them our support on this very special day, when the simulator jointly developed within the framework of technological exchange between both parties generated great satisfaction among attendees.
