ADO Mexico pulls ahead of the competition with its new driving simulator
At ADO Mexico they know what needs to be done! Investing in simulators means investing in their passengers. This is what Luis Sánchez Montes, Corporate Director of one of Mexico’s leading road passenger transport companies, stated.
Autobuses de Oriente, a pioneering company in the country’s mobility industry, currently has more than 6 thousand buses that transport 150 million passengers per year. Since 1939, the company has always remained at the cutting edge of new technologies, with the aim of offering passengers a more comfortable, faster and in particular more trustworthy journey.
As part of this effort, guaranteeing safety is key and that is the reason why the company decided to count on Lander Simulation to design a driving simulator that could help them to continue improving the training of the drivers.
This simulator has completely adapted to the operational circumstances of Mexico and to the training needs of the company, which wants to prioritise training in infrequent risk situations in a safe environment, to prepare their drivers to react in the face of any exceptional circumstance.
ADO hopes that more than 8000 drivers will use the simulator, and due to the good results that the team is already having, it is probable that what they will continue to invest in purchasing new units to complete their cutting-edge training centre.
At Lander, we wish them the greatest success on this path towards safety, which we hope to travel along hand-in-hand with ADO, achieving new successes for the benefit of passengers.
